Our Interview with Dr. Ariana Cesare

Dr. Cesare holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior from the University of California, Davis. Her recent research on lower back pain during pregnancy was published in the Journal of Women’s Health Physical Therapy. 

She specializes in pelvic and obstetric physical therapy and runs a woman-owned practice focused on pregnancy and postpartum fitness, return to running postpartum, and sexual and pelvic health. Her work includes adaptive sex education for individuals with varying mobility levels, limb loss, and neurological conditions. 

Dr. Cesare’s clinical experience spans women’s and men’s pelvic health, obstetrics, general orthopedics, gastrointestinal issues, sports rehabilitation, acute and inpatient rehab, neonatal and adult ICU, wound care, and neuro rehabilitation. She is dedicated to advancing sexual health education and improving pregnancy and postpartum care across the mobility spectrum. 

Currently, she is developing comprehensive maternal care programs at hospitals in Colorado, covering prenatal, inpatient postpartum, and outpatient postpartum therapy.
