Stacey Rhodes, LCSW is a psychotherapist in New York City. She has obtained her Master’s of Social Work from NYU’s school of Social Work. She helps her patients with a wide range of issues, such as anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, phobias, depression, life changes, grief, dating, and other relationships.

Stacey also has experience working with parents to help them face challenges and family matters. Working within the Mt. Sinai Health System, Stacey used trauma-focused therapy while working with children and adolescents. She also believes in a collaborative approach, working with family, schools, mental health professionals, and other providers as needed.

According to the Center for CBT in NYC’s website, “Stacey believes in and sees the best in her clients and acknowledges how hard they are working to manage a hard situation. Stacey provides a warm, caring, and non-judgmental space for her clients and welcomes a client’s collaboration in sessions. Stacey believes that therapy is a joint effort between client and therapist. She has found great joy in being able to be an additional support and cheerleader for her clients and join them in their life’s journey.”

Different & Able’s president and founder had the honor of interviewing Stacey. In the interview they talk about important and relevant mental health issues.
