A day at the Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk, Connecticut, with our friends from Abilis. Hands in the touch pool, hands-on time with the aquarium's staff, and lunch together afterward.

The touch pool was a favorite stop. Guests reached right in to see what they could feel.
The touch pool drew a crowd. We gathered along the edge to see what was in there and who wanted to reach in.

A staff member held out a bone so guests could touch it, one guest after another.
Another guest got a hands-on look too, with the aquarium's staff right there alongside.

Along the way we met owls and stopped by the sea lions.
We stopped to watch the sea lions, one of the highlights of the day.

One window gave a fresh look at what was inside, and a guest stopped to take it in.
After the aquarium, everyone sat down together for lunch at Yard House.

More frames from the day, from the touch pool to lunch.
