A Halloween party at Cafe Joyeux with our friends from Invictus and Mind Over Matter: some costumes, a live band, fortune telling, and plenty of treats.

We took over Cafe Joyeux, a cafe staffed by people with intellectual and cognitive disabilities, for a Halloween party. The cafe's own pumpkin helped set the scene.
The cafe's staff dressed up as Pink Ladies, and some of our guests came in costume too.

Ali caught up with a friend from Invictus, one of our partners for the day.
Two friends from Mind Over Matter, our other partner for the day, joined the party.

There were sandwiches, quiche, salads, cookies, brownies, and loaf cake, and everyone ate and talked together.
The band Especially Everybody was great. They sang for two hours.

The fortune telling section was a favorite, with a wheel to spin and fortune fish.
Goodie bags with ghosts in them sat in front of the counter, and there were cookies to take home too.

More frames from the party, from the band to our friends.
